Just as you need a special purpose piece of software to read PDFs (Adobe Reader), so you need special purpose software to read Kindle and EPUB files. Most of you are familiar with having to download Adobe Reader (for free) in order to read PDFs. You have to do the same in order to read Kindle and EPUB files.To view the sample Kindle file, first download the Kindle APP for your computer and install it, following the instructions Amazon provides. Then, try left clicking on the sample Kindle file in the sales letter, selecting Open with Amazon Kindle Application to open the file in the Amazon Kindle APP. If that doesn't work, right click on the sample Kindle file in the sales letter and then select "save as", "save link as", or "download linked file" to your computer, saving the file in a directory you can find again. Doubleclick on your saved file to open it in the Amazon Kindle APP.
To view the sample EPUB file, first download the Sony Reader APP for your computer and install it, following the instructions Sony provides. Then, try left clicking on the sample EPUB file in the sales letter, selecting Open with Reader Library Application to open the file in Sony's Reader Library APP. If that doesn't work, right click on the sample EPUB file in the sales letter and then select "save as", "save link as", or "download linked file" to your computer, saving the file in a directory you can find again. Doubleclick on your saved file to open it in Sony's Reader Library application.
