Everyday Classics: Second Reader

This third volume of the EVERYDAY CLASSICS series offers children a delightful collection of fables, fairy tales, and poems. Selections from Æsop, Grimm, and Andersen are included along with fairy tales from the Russian and Norse traditions. Groups of poems from Robert Louis Stevenson, Christina Rossetti, Lewis Carroll, Eugene Field, and others are placed at intervals in the text to give variety to the child's reading.
